Most undies & essentials are made with synthetic fabrics (aka plastic), meaning they end up spending more time in a landfill than in your top drawer. We use just one fibre: 100% organic cotton. Naturally breathable, hypoallergenic, and non-toxic, it's not only better for your body—it’s better for the planet, too.

Sustainably sourced & grown in the beautiful region of Izmir, Türkiye, our cotton is farmed organically—no synthetic pesticides, no GMOs, no harsh chemicals. Just clean, traceable cotton that supports healthier soil, safer farming conditions, and a reduced environmental footprint.

Our organic cotton is biodegradable, meaning it breaks down naturally over time without polluting the earth. So, once you’re ready to part ways with your Cou Cou's, you can simply remove their trims and pop them in the compost to start them on the next stage of their renewable cycle. PACKAGING

We know the impact of a product doesn’t stop at what’s inside—it’s also in how it arrives. That’s why we’ve designed our packaging to be as low-impact as possible, without compromising care or quality:


• All outer packaging and tags are made from FSC-certified paper—meaning the paper is responsibly sourced, recyclable, and biodegradable.
• Our garment poly bags are made from PLA (polylactic acid), a cornstarch-based material that’s 100% biodegradable in industrial compost.
• Hang tag strings are made from organic cotton.
• Hang tag clips are made from recycled plastic and are recyclable—though we’re actively working to replace them with a biodegradable bioplastic alternative by 2025.

  

Looking ahead, we’re committed to eliminating all conventional plastics from our packaging. We’re working to replace industrially compostable poly bags with recyclable paper-based options, and phasing out plastic hang tag clips entirely.
