You will never have to force something that’s meant to be
I’m usually in between 2 to 3 books at any given time. Right now, I’m reading the final book of Elena Ferrante’s Neapolitan Quartet, My Brilliant Friend and Haruki Murakami’s Norwegian Wood.
My friendships, particularly that I love appreciating their growth and change and deepening over time. There’s nothing better than growing up with your friends.

Spain and France

Anchovies and butter on toast, at least once a day
Too many antique linen bedspreads, pillowcases, and nightdresses from my favorite brocante in Biarritz. In the years before, I’ve traveled home with chairs, a lamp, small tables. You will get strange looks.
Afternoon lunches turning into dinners turning into dance parties. The cold ocean of the north feeling like it fixes everything.
